As part of my ongoing campaign to make the world appreciate the BBC more, I'm pleased to note that the Beeb has won three Webbies: BBC News has won 2 of 'em and BBC Radio 1 captured the radio category. The Webbies are the most prestigious awards on the Web, and the BBC continues to show the world how great broadcasters can produce great Web sites.
