To all on OS X who see this message appear, "Stop..."

This went away for me, and everything went perfectly, when I went to users//Library/Application Support/Thunderbird/Profiles, and edit the profiles.ini file . Change the line

Path=Profiles/.default

...so it matches the name of the profile folder that you moved from the previous computer.

This worked fine for me, from XP to OS X.

Hello to all of you, especially Dave! Just did as posted above and moved Tb from xp(windows) to to my girl friends new mac mini running snowleopard: It works great! Just replaced the profiles-,-.ini and even put in the -.dat
file. No problem. Thank you so much! says Sigurd from Berlin(Germany)

    Goldfrapp: We Are Glitter
    Goldfrapp's analog to PSB's "Disco", and just as enjoyable. (****)

  • Pet Shop Boys -

    Pet Shop Boys: Fundamental
    Their best production since "Introspective" and almost a complete return-to-form. "I'm With Stupid" and "Integral" light up the floor in front of your stereo, while "The Sodom and Gomorrah Show" recalls the best Frankie Goes To Hollywood moments. Meanwhile, "Casanova In Hell" will transport you to secret chambers where dark deeds receive warm laughs. Fantastic. (*****)
