KMaps 1.6.5 released

While waiting for my Indian take-out to be ready, I was messing with KMaps, which I've rhapsodised about before, and was given the option to download version 1.6.5. (I'm such a huge fan of over-the-air download+installs!) It's a GREAT update, as it now integrates location-based event data, pulled from some web site whose name I didn't note on the splash screen. Using this, it's now possible to ask KMaps what's going on in any area of the country. The results are succinct, with all the essential information, and ordered by date. This little app is getting more and more useful every day. Unfortunately, the KMaps web site denies any knowledge of 1.6.5's existence right now. So download version 1.6 and get the automatic update over the air.
